At 21:15 Hrs. Station 43 along with Station 32(South Franklin), to assist Stations 31 and 36 (Claysville and Taylorstown) with a working structure fire at 3489 RT. 40 West. E43-2 responded with a crew of 4, E43-3 responded with a crew of 4, and E43-4 responded with a crew of 2. E43-2 was the first piece if fire apparatus to AOS, and proceeded to initiate the fire attack. (2) 1 3/4 hand lines and (1) 2 1/2 were deployed to suppress the raging flames. Due to the extreme progression of the fire before any attack was made, and live arcing power lines in the dwelling, the dwelling was a total loss. All responders worked for approx 3 hrs.
